Zach and Alyssa Spencer
Zach and I have known each other for 6 years and have been together for 5. We met at church and went to the same high school, as well. We were friends at first and I liked him for almost a year before he finally came to his senses and asked me out.:) For our first date, we went to Mellow Mushroom, then to the Rave to see a movie. As they say, the rest is history. The picture on the left is actually from our senior year and the one on the right was taken a few months ago. Our wedding was at the same church we met at and we have been married for 2 and a half years. We went to Savannah, Georgia for our honeymoon and I just recently found out that it was the first time Zach had been to Georgia. Our first unit was in Virginia for 2 years and we just moved to Georgia about 2 months ago. We are hoping to have a little one soon. One of our goals is to visit every state in the United States.
I was born in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. I am an Air Force brat, have moved 8 times and have lived in 6 states and also Italy. I am quiet, but I am a strong person and have the "red-headed" attitude to match. I have one sister who is older than me. She is married and has a son who is almost three. I played the flute in high school where I marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I was also in the color guard my junior and senior year. I don't have a career right now, but I am praying about whether I want to be an ultrasound technician or a homemaker. I like to crochet, read, shop, and cook. I would like to get into more crafts and making my own things. I have a passion for fashion and photography. I like to create outfits and take pictures of mainly nature things. I have done some pictures of people but mainly just my sister's family and my husband. I also like doing manicures, organizing, and decorating the house.
Zach was born in Montgomery, AL. He has lived there pretty much his whole life, but his mom's side of the family is from Louisiana. He, unlike me, is really outgoing and can get along with pretty much everyone. He has two sisters and one brother. They are all older than he is. His second oldest sister has two girls, one is 6 and the other is almost 3. His brother has been married for three years. He also has a step mom and her and his dad have been married for 3 years also. He is in the greatest Coast Guard in the world and it will be for 3 years this September. He is a machinery technician and rightfully so because he LOVES working on and fixing things. He is really great at his job. He has been a drummer for twelve years and plays football, baseball, and softball. He also collects souvenir baseballs. He likes doing pretty much everything outdoors, bowling, and seeing movies. He can remember quotes for movies better than anyone else I have ever met. He really is the sweetest, most determined guy you will ever know.
And this is our dog Cadence. We got her a few months after we got married and she is almost 3. She is a ball of energy and, I will admit, spoiled. She is a good dog, though, and really smart.
